Morris Lapidus is the grandfather of mid century post-modern design and one of the most important American architects of the mid 20th century. The archive he leaves behind is rich with design not currently in the marketplace.
The audience for Morris Lapidus product is design-oriented and high brow and retail shelf space for such a program is limited. Also Mr. Lapidus offers an exciting
collection in Lucite, a material that has become very expensive to manufacture.
Work with the numerous hotels originally designed by Mr. Lapidus and identify items from the archive appropriate for the hospitality industry. Select licensees who distribute to the hospitality trade.
Furniture has been licensed to Dennis Miller Associates, a prominent and
respected trade and hospitality resource. We expect to fill the lighting
category shortly.
