This past weekend, Product Lounge was pleased to read that partner Jason Rubinstein’s former client, fashion designer extraordinaire, Giorgio di Sant’Angelo will enjoy a retrospective at the Phoenix Art Museum. Opening September 17th, the show will highlight fashions embraced by Giorgio’s celebrity clients, Mick Jagger, Lena Horne, and Diana Ross, to namedrop a few. Phoenix is an appropriate locale, as Giorgio was greatly influenced by the designs of both American Indians and the Great Plains. Jason represented Giorgio in the 1990′s along with his partners Chip Rubinstein and Peter Wiederhorn and developed several licensing programs that included furs, knitwear, dresses, swimwear, and children’s apparel.
