Jason was literally born into licensing. His father, Chip Rubinstein was founder and CEO of Anne Klein, and the first fashion executive to license. After selling Anne Klein, Chip and Jason began one of the very first licensing companies, The Ananta Group, over 20 years ago. Jason helped build it into a firm responsible for over $150 million dollars of licensed product annually. He built a successful and long lived licensing programs for such companies as Farberware, Jones Apparel Group, Converse, Diane von Furstenberg, Stetson, Playboy Magazine, Hearst Publications, and Car & Driver, among others. Based on strong fundamentals, nearly all his programs have lasted in excess of 10 years. Love of well-designed product extends into Jason’s personal life, as well, and his own home has been published.
